Fall for her

Aidan Pilgrim despite being a branding and consultant writer from Georgia is a little bit of a gypsy, drifting from coast to coast (LA, NY, SF).  A collector of vintage ‘ya-yas’ she’s currently working on a writing project with her two Southern grandmothers–musings on history, love and etiquette.  She’s Albertine’s Summer to Fall girl.

Summer Sister

Kacee Pyles is an independent film producer currently working on projects in Georgia.  She joined us in saying good-bye to Summer with a snowcone and to hang with her homegirl Aidan. Kacee wears a turban by Cult Gaia and a Wren Alexa Dress ($345).

Holiday In Vinegar Hill

Check out this fun Albertine collaboration with photographer Joyce Lee featuring Aine from Q Models.  Joyce asked us to help style the shoot and we jumped at the chance.  All the photos were taken on a beautiful Spring day in Vinegar Hill.  Looking at them now makes us super excited about the approaching Summer season.

Jane’s Carousel

We had a great opportunity to do a photo shoot at the exquisite Jane’s Carousel in Brooklyn.  We thought that it would be a great time and place to bring some of the Albertine sorority together, past and present, to find out what they’re up to and where they are now.  The afternoon was gorgeous and the girls had fun catching up in their fetching outfits.

Meagan Delaney is now the American brand manager for French heritage label Armor Lux. Founded in 1938, the brand is the most authentic purveyor of the country’s iconic nautical style; renowned for their (toujours très chic) Breton stripe. She is wearing a striped tank top by Tucker and blue shorts by R. Comey

Virginia is wearing a vintage strapless dress from Albertine and her own tuxedo jacket.

Lockets: Mother’s Day Edition

We here at Albertine are huge fans of lockets as gifts.  The right locket can come to represent all the feelings that one wants to convey to a beloved.  We often hear about a locket becoming a treasured piece for clients, one that they love to wear everyday.  We’ve compiled a selection for Mother’s Day that we feel hits all the right notes and can become a piece that mom will keep for many years to come.

Ariane Hundt and Brooklyn Bridge Bootcamp

After noticing certain friends of Albertine completely transforming their bodies and lives, we decided to check out Ariane Hundt’s Brooklyn Bridge Bootcamp for ourselves.  We love Ariane for her tough, no BS approach.  Her classes are good for all levels whether you’re an athlete trying to sharpen your game,  a new mommy that needs to get rid of the baby weight or a bride getting ready for that strapless wedding gown.  The program is tried and tested: we’ve personally seen the phenomenal results!

above and below: Ariane looks gorgeous in a couple of pieces by Nadia Tarr.  The dresses are all cotton stretch jersey–  super body-friendly and great for women on the go.

Ariane is a model of efficiency.  Between classes she manages scheduling from her blackberry and computer, responding to clients and making sure that everyone gets her personal (and much valued) attention.
