Holiday In Vinegar Hill

Check out this fun Albertine collaboration with photographer Joyce Lee featuring Aine from Q Models.  Joyce asked us to help style the shoot and we jumped at the chance.  All the photos were taken on a beautiful Spring day in Vinegar Hill.  Looking at them now makes us super excited about the approaching Summer season.

Jane’s Carousel

We had a great opportunity to do a photo shoot at the exquisite Jane’s Carousel in Brooklyn.  We thought that it would be a great time and place to bring some of the Albertine sorority together, past and present, to find out what they’re up to and where they are now.  The afternoon was gorgeous and the girls had fun catching up in their fetching outfits.

Meagan Delaney is now the American brand manager for French heritage label Armor Lux. Founded in 1938, the brand is the most authentic purveyor of the country’s iconic nautical style; renowned for their (toujours très chic) Breton stripe. She is wearing a striped tank top by Tucker and blue shorts by R. Comey

right: Virginia Loughlin Mourneaut divides her time between New York, London, and Italy.  She cooks fabulous dinner parties for clients and as well as creating beautiful interior murals.  We like to think of  multi-talented Virgina as Albertine’s Renaissance Woman.

Virginia is wearing a vintage strapless dress from Albertine and her own tuxedo jacket.

left: It’s been a very busy year for Payton Turner.  Not only did she launch her awesome wallpaper company Flat Vernacular, she’s also got her hands full planning her wedding.  In this photo she is wearing a lovely floral dress by A Detacher.

left: Luna Medina is a new addition to the Albertine family.  An illustration major at Parsons, born and raised in Seville Spain,  Luna has an easy, impeccable taste.  She styled the girls for this story and shot the video.  Her dress is by Quail.

Fun Times at Jane’s Carousel (VIDEO)

We’d like to give a special thanks to Jane Walentas for letting us use her exquisite carousel before it gets moved to it’s new permanent home in DUMBO. It was a unique opportunity to shoot in such a lovely historic environment. For more info, check out Jane’s Carousel.
